The Fundraiser Family Sunscreen is a broad spectrum SPF 30+ Sunscreen.

What does SPF+ 30 mean? SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor, is a factor on how long skin covered with sunscreen takes to burn compared with uncovered skin. SPF 30 means it will take 30 times longer to burn wearing sunscreen.

For Sunscreen to be effective you should apply it about half an hour before going out in the sun (or the water) so it can bind to your skin - if you don't, then it is very easy for the sunscreen to wash off. Sweating heavily, swimming, or doing other water activities reduces the SPF because sweat or water on the skin will reduce the amount of protection the sunscreen provides. Sunscreen needs to be reapplied more frequently during these activities.
